“There are two types of DIY people, those who are the die hard fans of the thing they set out to make, and those who are curious about the process. I would venture a guess that the latter group has more fun in their hand-made exploits because they have only a foggy focus on the end result. Adventures in cheese making can be pleasurable or painful depending on your expectations – not so different from any of life’s endeavours”. (Davies, S 2012).

At present all our workshops are held at Bay Leaves Larder, 87-91 Hiltingbury Road, Chandlers Ford, SO53 5NQ.

Please arrive for coffee and croissants at 9.00am, ready for a start time of 9.30am. A light lunch is included and refreshments are served throughout the day, finishing at 4.30pm. The all inclusive price (covering all ingredients and equipment needed, as well as products to take home) is £150.

In order to allow the maximum amount of one-to-one time, each course has only a small number of participants. Therefore please note that your place is not secured until we have received a non-refundable deposit of £50. We can now accept PayPal (see below) - please ensure you also send us a completed booking form when using PayPal.
