Since starting to make cheese, I have been amazed by how many people are fascinated by cheese – how often people are happy to talk about it, try new cheeses, state they love cheese, but are surprised to find they can make their own.

You make two cheeses to take home with you, one will need to be stored before consumption, the other can be eaten immediately. There is also a demonstration on how to make a pressed cheese.
Throughout the day there are breaks for coffee and lunch, there are cheese making books to peruse, cheeses to taste and buy, along with cheese making equipment to look at. And I will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
At present the course is based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, but we are always open to the thought of expanding to other venues in the Winchester, Eastleigh and Southampton area.
